AnimAI Studio (“we”) respects the privacy of users (“you”) of the mobile application “Animal Walk” (the “App”) and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Our Approach

The App does not transmit any user information to external servers. All data handled by the App is stored and processed solely on your device.

2. Information We Access and Use

• Step count from Health: With your permission, the App reads your daily step count from Apple Health (HealthKit). Steps are used only to display your companion animal and to show today’s step count on the Home Screen widget.
• In-app settings and progress: Your settings—such as the chosen companion animal, step goal, and achievement status—are stored only in local storage on your device.

Health data, including step counts, is never transmitted to or shared with any third party, including the developer.

3. Sharing and External Transmission

The App does not provide or sell user information to any third party. It uses no analytics, advertising, tracking, or external cloud services, and it does not send any information over the network.

4. Handling of Health Data

Step data obtained from HealthKit is never used for advertising or marketing purposes, and it is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent. You can change or revoke Health access at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

• The App’s data is stored only on your device.
• Uninstalling the App removes the App’s data stored on your device.
• The step records in Apple Health are not managed by the App and remain in Health.

6. Children

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from any particular age group.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as needed. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page.
